Ecstatic Hallelujahs, eclectic Kiddushes, and intimate prayers form this program of distinctly Jewish choral music honoring Cincinnati’s historic Plum Street Temple. Come and experience the architectural majesty of the ornate 1866 temple while listening to music by favorite composers (Mendelssohn, Gershwin, Kurt Weill), local composers (Rabbi James G. Heller, Maurice Goldman, Brenda Portman), local guest artists Cantor Yvon Shore and Dr. Michael Unger, and the world premiere of Lecha dodi by Cincinnati Camerata Composition Contest winner Nicholas Weininger.
